i LOVE wrapping gifts (just like russell) and books give me double joy because they’re easy to dress up. i think when i was like, 11, i spent a day wrapping empty shirt/shoe boxes and lids that my family could use; just choose which paper you liked and pop your gift in! if you handled it well (some would start ripping the paper before realizing they could just open the lid), the wrapped box could be used again. yeah, i was a weird kid.
