I just started reading this. I really like Nick Hornby. For some reason I put him in the same category as Douglas Coupland who I also really like. I don’t know it’s all very short and to the point but exactly the right words.

i “liked” this because of the cover, and it continued to pop out at me when i would visit bookstores. i finally picked it up off the shelf the other day and read the flaps. then today i downloaded the first chapter off of hornby’s site. i think i would have eventually read the book (via the library, or in paperback) because it’s hornby, but the combination of the cover, the free taste, and a 25% off coupon from b&n that appeared in my inbox today pushed me over the edge. will buy tomorrow, and enjoy this weekend.
