this is my still-unopened kindle that betsy gave me for christmas. my mom received one as well, a replacement for the one that she lost a while ago. betsy set up my mom’s kindle that same day and they both clicked through this list of free books, most of which were downloaded right there to the kindle and betsy’s kindle app on her touch. my kindle stayed in its box on a shelf in my room for the next two weeks. i’m trying to figure out why. there are plenty of excuses for not buying a kindle, but now that i already have one, i don’t have any good excuses for not using it. maybe i just really don’t like amazon?
