meaghano: lee: my mom sent me this comic after I posted this. thanks mom, you rock. Sending newspaper clippings in the mail. That was a cute thing we did for awhile.  Not me, but Moms and aunts and stuff. Well, not my mom or aunts. But I have heard of it happening. I’ll miss that. Hearing about it. I’ll miss knowing that’s a thing people do and thinking it was adorable. my mom still clips. well, she saves the section of the paper and folds it open to the specific page, piling up articles for us to sift through on the weekend. i don’t usually read them (except for the comics) because i’ve probably already read them online. but i really appreciate the gesture. my mom: the analog google reader. also, it’ll be a loooong time before you see me with an e-reader/without my library card.
