swans on the lake this morning.
to my right, jamie is chasing two deer off into the woods. to my left, a hurricane is on its way.
i almost stayed awake for the entire bus ride into the city this morning. i can’t begin to explain how much effort that took.
my bus pass is a watermelon!
also white shorts because i cannot handle this heat. it’s probably not fancy enough for the office but y’know what else isn’t fancy? me sweating my ass off in slacks. y’all are just gonna have to deal.
the bridge is out, so i’m not entirely sure how/if my bus will get to my stop. the water hasn’t hit the road up here yet (it’s the white stuff behind the garage) but below the bridge it’s already flooding the dealership lot.
of course, this is no japan…
